The history of the largest town on Lake Constance extends far back to Roman times. The historic centre of Constance is better preserved than those of many other German towns and cities – partly due to the fact that it managed to escape serious destruction during the Thirty Years’ War and the Second World War. Many buildings have been preserved from the Middle Ages, when the town experienced its heyday. Today, Constance has two university level colleges and almost 82,000 inhabitants. Its unique rural location offers both local residents and its many visitors an extremely high quality of life. This is our schedule for Constance:
